WELCOME!

Gulf Coast Interfaith (GCI) is an interfaith and interracial coalition of congregations and community organizations located along the Texas Gulf Coast.

GCI engages in leadership development and community organizing so that leaders can work together to improve the vitality of their own communities and congregations.

GCI is affiliated with the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF), the oldest and largest community organizing network in the United States. GCI was instrumental in creating, and continues to lead, the organizing and advocacy efforts of Galveston County Restore and Rebuild (GCR2), a coalition of 25 national and local organizations which is rebuilding hundreds of homes throughout Galveston County.
